We were pleased to have Nick Lappos, a current Sikorsky Aircraft Senior Technical Fellow - Advanced Technology share with our enthusiastic audience his presentation "Flight Test Tales - Stories from Helicopter Test Pilots from the Beginning".  Nick was a Chief Research and Development Test Pilot for Sikorsky for over 27 years.

Sikorsky Aircraft Senior Technical Fellow - Advanced Technology.

Responsible for the Technical Fellow community, and the introduction of advances technologies into new and existing products.

Former Senior Vice President, Bell Helicopter XworX - Responsible for the development of new products.

Former Vice President - Government Programs for  Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.

Former Program Director - S-92 Program during its development and certification. Former Director of Test Engineering and the Flight Test Development Center.

Chief Research and Development Test Pilot for Sikorsky for over 27 years, and has flown over 70 different helicopter types.  Over 7,500 hours flight time. Former DER flight test pilot, member of several NASA, AHS, FAA and AGARD Committees. Participated in the development of the S76, UH-60, RAH-66, ABC, Fantail, Shadow, CH-53E, S92. Former US Army pilot, flew attack helicopters in Vietnam.
